We stayed in a deluxe queen with water view. I was blown away. Our server at Chops was amazing. I can't remember her name but she just moved from Winnipeg and I was lucky enough to have her both nights I ate there.

Less than 10 minutes' walk from the Citadel National Historic Site, this Halifax hotel offers free WiFi. First-rate services and comfortable guestrooms are included. I stayed at both the Lord Nelson and Marriott Downtown hotels during my stay in Halifax. My room at the Lord Nelson was cheaper and yet 10x better than my room at the Marriott. It was a little busy when I checked-in but the staff in front assisted me as to where I can temporarily park. Great location just in front of the Halifax Public Gardens.
