Conveniently located in the Bockenheim district of Frankfurt/Main, Hotel Isha is located 2.2 km from Messe Frankfurt, 2.8 km from Frankfurt Central Station and 3 km from Palmengarten. Breakfast - in spite of all the rave reviews - did NOT disappoint . . . eggs, omelettes, house baked seeded bread rolls, fresh cut fruit and a selection of yummy meats & cheeses continuously being made and restocked by a hard working chef, plus a push button espresso coffee machine - all under the watchful eye of 'Mama' who made sure tables were cleared and cleaned in between diners. The whole sense of the hotel is that it's a proud and actively managed business by a family who CARES. After 3 days of excellent internet, it crashed but techie son Manu was on the case and had the fairly complicated problem resolved quickly. In the meantime, 'Mama' had offered me use of her private internet - one of several small kindnesses offered like the large free bottle of sparkling water when I checked in. There is a happy and positive feeling about the place, where the staff is not afraid to 'put their backs into it.' They also have a restaurant next door with a good reputation (though I didn't try it) and I found it to be a perfect spot if you want to be in or near the Bochenheim area of Frankfurt. I will stay here again, and I highly recommend it to my ex-wife the next time she comes to visit our daughter.

This beautiful art hotel is a historic villa in an elegant residential area of Frankfurt, and is within easy walking distance of Frankfurt University and the trade fair centre. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is on a quiet residential street with a grocery store very close by.
