Attractively located in the Taito district of Tokyo, Hotel Litlle Bird OKU-ASAKUSA is located 600 metres from Ichiyo Memorial Museum, 600 metres from Edo Taito Traditional Crafts Center and less than... Tetsuro makes you feel incredibly welcome and is so helpful. We ended up doing an Edo period tour that he tailored for us and it was amazing. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and very functional! Having a stovetop, kettle, and fridge along with convenience stores, super markets, restaurants, and bakeries nearby gave a ton of flexibility. About a 10 minute walk to the Iriya station on the Hibiya line and 15 minutes to the Asakusa station.

Set within 600 metres of Akiba Shrine and 500 metres of Chosho-ji Temple, Sakura Cross Hotel Ueno Iriya Annex offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. Clean place, easy checkin and checkout. Super small but it just works. Nice beds, pracitcal apartment. Shower is amazing.

Juyoh Hotel is located 650 metres or an 8-minute walk from Minami-Senju Subway Station. Free WiFi is provided in all guest rooms along with air conditioning and heating. It was approximately $30 for a night's stay. At this price point there's very little you can complain about without sounding petty because most complaints are easily countered by the very fact that it's cheaper than some pricier capsule hotels (and obviously much cheaper than even most lower-end business hotels). I've had meals in Japan that cost more than my stay. They actually provide a guide to the buttons on the AC remote! That's a first ever for me. Sure, the Google Translate app is a thing nowadays, but it's still a really nice touch that I appreciated very much. AC itself was pretty effective. The member of staff who checked me in had no issues explaining everything to me in English and was very polite. Minami-senju Station is pretty close to Ueno Station, so if you're coming from Narita via the Skyliner, it's a pretty decent location (this benefit was lost on me cause I was coming in from Haneda). A bit of a walk from the station itself, but not excessively so. There are plenty of conbinis around the hotel, and even places to eat late at night. I arrived at the hotel at around 8 pm but was still able to find a place to grab dinner at around 10.

Hotel Emir features air-conditioned rooms with cable flat-screen TV in the Taito district of Tokyo. This 2-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Location was in the redlight district. Not expecting that. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the heart of Asakusa. Well worth it for the price.

Located in Tokyo and within 600 metres of Kinryu Park, Hotel SAILS Asakusa features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Hotel provided adequate towels for everyone for the duration of our stay as there was no daily cleaning. It was also located in a quiet part of tokyo and we did not hear much traffic even though our room was on the first floor. Location was walking distance to asakusa, where there were many shops and restaurants. There was alot of space to hang clothes and they provided more hangers than other accomadations. Hotel staff were responsive on booking.com messaging even though it was an unmanned hotel.

Conveniently set in the Taito district of Tokyo, plat hostel keikyu minowa forest is located 100 metres from Ichiyo Memorial Museum, 700 metres from Jokanji Temple and 1.3 km from Kinryu Park. Staff were excellent, very friendly and good English. The rooms were tidy, reasonably sized (by Japanese standards), almost like a business hotel as much as a hostel. there were plenty of showers and toilets, although they are shared, but never had to wait for one and they were always exceptionally tidy. clothes washing was available for a small fee.

Nestled a 4-minute walk away from Iriya Station, Vessel Inn Ueno Iriya Ekimae offers free WiFi throughout the entire property, private on-site parking and several rooms that offer views of Tokyo... Good location, clean, vending machines and cheap laundry available. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food nearby.
