Section L Yushima-Ueno har ett perfekt läge i området Bunkyo Ward i Tokyo, 6 minuters promenad från Kamezumiinari Shrine, 600 m från Shitamachi Museum och 6 minuters promenad från Kyu-Iwasaki-tei... Excellent location with good restaurants nearby, close to beautiful Ueno park and Yushima station on Chiyoda line - a quieter line into the sights. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. We enjoyed the space and great shower with the best pressure we had in Japan. The room has really clever features like a shoe rack on entry, rail to hang clothes, compact but very functional kitchen.

Situated 1.5 km from Sensoji Temple, MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North provides free WiFi in all areas. The accommodation features a hot tub. The units have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. Great location, accessible to the trains, convenience stores and food places. We loved the fact it was so near Ueno park where there were lots to explore. The room was just right for our family of 5 and ready when we checked in. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The amenities they provided made our stay enjoyable.

The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

APA Hotel Asakusa Shin Okachimachi Ekimae är ett 3-stjärnigt boende beläget i Tokyo, 4 minuters promenad från Choen-ji Temple och 500 m från The Shitaya Shrine. Location was good, about 5 min walk to train station. Quiet at night, and not on a very busy street. Extremely clean and has that standard APA layout. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our luggage before and after our stay.

APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami ligger idealiskt beläget i centrala Tokyo och har luftkonditionerade rum, en restaurang och gratis WiFi. Location is perfect, lot of food and attraction nearby. The hotel is small but it is known with a reasonable price, definitely would recommend for solo travel.
