Featuring free WiFi, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a garden, Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill is set in Nairobi’s Upperhill district, within a 5-minute walk of Upperhill Medical Centre. Breakfast was great. The restaurant area was right on the same floor as my room. The staff was great! Peter, Bridgite, and Melvine at the front desk were all extremely helpful. Boniface in the restaurant showed me how to use the MPesa system (it was my first time). Stephen, the security guard helped me with my bags. Juliet, the breakfast hostess was friendly. Hannah in housekeeping was most helpful. The staff was great.

Fairview Hotel is set in Nairobi, 7 minutes' drive from Kenyatta International Conference Centre and 2 km from Nairobi National Museum. The hotel location is great, and the peaceful and green grounds were lovely to return to after a long day. The hotel is clearly well taken care of and the decor during the holidays was such a cozy touch. However, more than anything else, every single staff member made our stay an absolutely excellent and enjoyable one. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful—at a level above other hotels we've experienced in Nairobi and even the rest of the world. It made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we wished we had stayed longer. A special shoutout must be given to Florence at reception for taking such good care of everything we needed and making us feel at home. She is a true gem.

Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi is located in Nairobi, 20-minutes' drive from the Nairobi National Park. It also comes with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The location is great and hotel is in fine condition. As i have stayed in Dubai Radisson Blu both on canal and marasi drive i can say there isn’t much difference in quality and price.

Sarova Panafric Hotel is situated in Nairobi, 18 km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and a 5-minute drive from the CBD. It features 2 restaurants, a bar and a swimming pool. I had a great time at Sarova Panafric. The staff is very friendly. Benson, who welcomed me, was especially helpful and kind. The restaurant has a rich and varied menu. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and elegant. There is a modern and very well-equipped gym, and the pool is great. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love the ACK Guest House. The staff in every department there are wonderful, and they made it feel like a home away from home. Each day when I returned, often from a long day of work, they always welcomed me in such a way that I felt that I was coming home to friends. They were also thoroughly professional and provided excellent service. On several occasions, staff went above and beyond to help me with difficulties that I had, even when those difficulties were unrelated to the guest house itself. They want to ensure that their guests have a safe and happy and pleasant stay, not just at the ACK but also in Kenya. So even if you do find that you are unhappy with anything there, just talk to the staff. They are super kind and helpful. The guest house itself is comfortable and nice. IT's not the Ritz, but nor are you paying for the Ritz! Comfortable, safe, pleasant, and good value. One minor challenge was that there are not a whole lot of restaurants within easy walking distance (though there is one - a grill just a couple of minutes walk but I don't know about its food and prices because I never ate there), but I enjoyed the ACK in-house restaurant so much that I was more than happy to dine-in. That said, heaps of restaurants etc. are only a short, cheap uber (or a reaaaallllly cheap moto-taxi) away (when the traffic is clear). Getting anywhere when the traffic is bad can take a long time, but that's Nairobi. The area around the hotel is safe and quiet, but talk to reception before you decide to walk anywhere beyond the immediate surrounds, and they will help you to know where and when is safe for walking. The laundry service is also excellent. I really miss the ACK guest house, and really look forward to hopefully returning.

Within just 3 km of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Capital Heights Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Nairobi. It is a very quiet place. Great ambience and location if you are looking for a hotel with a budget in mind.

Located adjacent to the Railways Golf Course, Hillpark Hotel is situated in the suburb of Nairobi Upper Hill. It features a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and garden. Really enjoyed this place. Very near Wilson airport and the bus stations. Great room with bath, good staff, really nice rest with fireplace and excellent affordable food. Also enjoyed the heated pool and steam room. Front gate security and private property also bonuses. Excellent value overall
