From providing helpful recommendations to accommodating our needs, she truly made us feel at home. Busami np. do uroczego Muiderslot. Bardzo blisko sa sklepy, restauracje i tereny spacerowe. Jest przestrzennie, zielono i nowoczesnie. Mieszkanie jest takie jak na zdjeciach: ladne, wygodne, bardzo dobrze wyposazone, z tarasem tuz przy kanale. Zobaczycie wiele ptakow wodnych, moze odwiedza Was okoliczne koty:) Gospodarze przygotowali przewodnik po okolicy ze wszystkimi potrzebnymi informacjami, w kazdej chwili byli gotowi do pomocy. This family accommodation is situated on the ground floor of a waterfront villa in Amsterdam. The property is located 12 minutes from the historical centre of Amsterdam. I loved the beautiful view of the canal (right out the patio door!), where I was able to bird watch while relaxing. The room was very close to the tram to central station (about a three minute walk). I really like staying in residential neighbourhoods when I travel, it makes one feel more a part of the community. The room was also very close to supermarkets and restaurants. Just remember to bring cash, because the supermarket did not take credit cards!

I loved this location. It was 20 minutes by tram from Amsterdam Central Station. The tram ran frequently. It was a very quiet family neighborhood. It felt very private. The entrance is separate from the owners. The owners live upstairs/across the courtyard. They do not come into the rented area except to speak with you or go to their office down the hall (once). The bathroom was not in the room, but it was literally one room over down a short hall. Since the rented area is exclusively for the guest, I had privacy going to and from the bathroom. The rooms in the area are: guest sleeping room and large closet, bathroom, office (they mostly work upstairs when there are guests). The bed was comfortable and the room was large. There was a large closet where I could put my things on shelves. The bathroom was large and had a large bathtub that was great to soak in after a long day of walking.

Really cool location on the water, on one of the newly built islands east of the city center. Short walk to the tram, 10 minute ride to Centraal. Auro could not have been a nicer host, with tips on transportation and the area. We had lunch at an outdoor market in Ijburg based on his recommendation, and were able to find our way around quite easily. Houseboat itself was very interesting. Comfortable and quiet rooms and great great bathroom facilities. Our family of five fit well in two rooms.
