Wonderful and caring staff, my left at reception suicase was taken to my room when room became available, they have lockers in spa I had room with balcony _ walk outside thru to the pool., pool area is lovely, towels are comfy Inside pool is right temperature, just open doors for fresh air

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel boasts an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colours. Everything, I would have to say out of all the hotels I've ever stayed at, this is my favourite. The views from the rooms are spectacular and the breakfasts were delicious. You can tell that all the staff are proud to work there. Just superb!!
