Friendly helpful staff. Close to 28 tram. Lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the river.Hotel restaurant was excellent.

Attractively set in Lisbon, Pousada Alfama features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The hotel is located within walking distance from some very important historical landmarks (the Lisbon Cathedral, Saint George's Castle, the National Pantheon, the Rua Augusta Arch, etc.) and quite close to the main Rossio square. You have quite a lot of restaurants nearby, although transportation around Alfama (other than a couple of trams, including the historical 28E, and a bus to the castle) is relatively scarce. However, it wasn't an issue to get around on foot. While the hotel is in a very touristic area, the rooms are very well soundproof and you won't be bothered by the noise on the busy streets around. I'd say the rooms are about the right size (not too big, not too small), really comfortable, squeaky clean and the breakfast at the hotel was very good (quite a lot of options). The welcome gift (custard tarts, Ginja liqueur and a hand painted tile) were a lovely detail. To top it all off, the personnel was incredibly kind and helpful. Every single one of them. I think it is the best hotel I've have stayed in so far! If you are planning to go to Lisbon, you can't go wrong with them.

In the Santa Maria Maior district of Lisbon, close to St. George's Castle, Miradouro de Santa Luzia has free WiFi and a washing machine. We LOVED everything. The apartment is light, very clean and spacious, the view is incredible ….the best view in Lisbon (it IS on every poster of Lisbon!). I think it is the best location to stay in Lisbon. It is in the middle of everything, yet very quiet! My son who stayed behind for a few more days was lucky to re-book the property for only 2 days it was available.

Modern & good quality, clean, good location. You have everything in the kitchen for cooking. Comfortable bed and also elevator ( since it's in the old city this future is rare) :).The staff it's friendly and accommodating.:)

Agnes, the host, is super nice and helpful, she waited with keys and directions for us. The apartment was very clean and was cleaned every day. The place is located in the city center so it was close to most tourist attractions. The apartment was very cosy and beautiful, designed with style. It had even a dishawasher. We could leave our luggage in the restaurant downstairs after check-out which was very helpful for us. I would definetly book this place one more time and I highly recommend it!
