I frantically looked for a hotel within our budget that was clean and in a safe neighbourhood and four the Hotel Belle Claire. The staff were amazingly friendly. The room was spotless and the safe snd across the road from the subway.

This hotel is 150 metres from the 79th street metro station and 325 metres from the Museum of Natural History. It features on-site spa services and free WiFi. The location is perfect. With Central Park a short walk away, lower Manhattan easily accessible by the subway and sitting in the heart of the Upper West Side, it couldn’t be better placed. The staff are wonderful - everyone is welcoming, friendly and professional. And what a beautiful building too. Local amenities are plentiful and the rooms are immaculate.

Greeted by custom artwork, an original fireplace and a 1920’s elevator system in lobby, guests at this century-old hotel in Upper West Side will be 650 metres from the Central Park. Location was superb, easy walking to Central Park, and subway stations. We discovered great local restaurants. The bed very comfortable and for Manhattan hotel, good amount of room.
