We recently had the pleasure of staying at Carlos's Casa del Mediterraneo in Barcelona, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for my entire stay. First and foremost, I was struck by Carlos's exceptional politeness and eagerness to assist. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply engaging in friendly conversation. The property was very clean and beautifully furnished, every detail was carefully curated to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Location-wise, the property couldn't have been better situated. It offered easy access to all the city's major attractions. Overall, my experience staying at Carlos's property was nothing short of exceptional. His unwavering politeness and genuine desire to ensure his guests have a memorable stay truly set him apart. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and hospitable retreat in Barcelona.

This is a quaint boutique style hotel with 8 rooms.. The room I was assigned was decent sized with a balcony facing the city.. Location was terrific just at the center of placa catalunya filled with restaurants,bars,shopping street/malls,metro/subway/airport bus stop and walking distance 15-20 mins to some of the tourist attractions .. absolutely loved everything at the hotel .. the host was a very cheerful and helpful lady who gave us some good recommendations .. Overall the best experience in Barcalona.. do not miss the opportunity to stay at Izaila when in Barcalona ..

The hotel was as described. The location is amazing, which is why I chose this hotel. Nearby there are cafes and shops. A very nice woman met us upon check-in, I also met a cleaning lady, she is very nice. In the mornings we drank tea provided by the hotel and it was convenient to keep juices and yoghurts in the guest fridge. The room and bathroom are small but we were prepared for it. We had enough space, we are accustomed to small spaces and we are small :) It was clean, fresh linens and towels. The noise in the bathroom when flushing the toilet is due to the peculiarity of the sewage system, it is worth remembering that this building is more than 100 years old and adapted to the modern needs. The only thing is that the pillows could be a little softer and lower. I would return to this hotel again.
