The rooms gave out a unique atmosphere of coziness. We liked the unique way the beds were turning from sofas to beds, but we would also love it if they were a little wider. The room was spacious enough, and so was the internal private bathroom. The owners seemed friendly and caring.

This place is a real gem especially if you re getting one if the three room on the shore . The manager of this property is a real gentleman when you can fell the high human quality of this man , his love for the place and his care for his guests .If you want to feel scotland Ullapool , loch broom and Harbour house are a combination of scottish nature and culture .High praise !

Brambles of Inveraray ligger i Inveraray, mindre än 1 km från Inveraray Castle, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi. Detta värdshus med 4 stjärnor har en 24-timmarsreception. We loved our stay of 2 nights in the Garden suite! Simply amazing! When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

Waterfront ligger bara ett stenkast från Anstruthers hamn och småbåtshamn, och erbjuder fin utsikt över Firth of Forth. På detta 4-stjärniga bed & breakfast har du tillgång till gratis Wi-Fi. Beautiful location, literally at the waterfront, super clean, comfortable and spacious room. Tasty breakfast (included in our stay), as well as dinner (not included, but great)!

Detta familjeägda pensionat har ett idealiskt läge vid havet i Stranraer, med utsikt över Loch Ryan och bara 5 minuters promenad från stadens centrum och tågstationen. The host, Elaine, was exceptional. Our room was at the back of the house and nice and quiet. Complimentary sips of whisky and chocolate helped us relax after a terrible travel day. Easy walking to city center and train station. Vegan breakfast was delicious.

Grimisdale Guest House ligger i Leverburgh och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och en trädgård med en terrass och sjöutsikt. Excellent location, easy to find when arriving by ferry, secure bike storage, clean, comfortable and helpful, friendly staff/owners. Very connected to the community and helpful when finding future accommodation. Bag transfer service to Tarbert given the terrain & wind was much appreciated. PS: cycling onward on a Sunday? Nothing is open so ask for a packed lunch. Lesson learned 😟
