Solar de Santo André er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Ponta Delgada, 12 km frá Pico do Carvao. Það býður upp á útisundlaug og sjávarútsýni. Gististaðurinn státar af sólarhringsmóttöku og sólarverönd.... highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

This place is like no other place. The common hall is furnished like a room in the palace of the British kingdom. A huge bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including fruit, and fresh cakes. I did not meet Daniel, only his mother Sally, a sympathetic and special woman who took care of every problem and the pleasant The stay in the place in an exceptional way with helpful tips.

CITY STONE HOUSE í Ponta Delgada er gistirými sem er aðeins fyrir fullorðna. Boðið er upp á garð, grillaðstöðu og sameiginlega setustofu. Everything was perfect and beyond expectations. The room looks the same as on the pictures. Emanuel gave a lot of tips and sent us a written guidance to the island. He did his best to make our trip memorable. We really liked how he prepared with towels for the beach, hot springs and enough in the bathroom as well. + It was one of the cleanest place I've ever been. He really thought about everything. Thank you so much for every tips and help!

Gististaðurinn er í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Praia do Corpo Santo og 600 metra frá Praia da Vinha da Areia í Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. We like that the beds were very comfortable and the place was kept clean, even the shared living space and kitchen. We also like that the place is close to the supermarket which is a 2min walking distance. The host was also very kind and helpful.

Nice room, well decorated. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Communal kitchen very well equipped to cook meals.

Thalassa Villas er staðsett í Ponta Delgada, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá São Roque-ströndinni og í 15 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Milicias-ströndinni, og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni og... Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

Estrela do Atlântico er staðsett í Horta, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Praia da Conceição og 2,8 km frá Praia de Porto Pim. Boðið er upp á gistirými með garði, bar og ókeypis WiFi. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!
