The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Salgueiral Guest House Douro asub Peso da Réguas, 1,6 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist ja 16 km kaugusel Püha Neitsi Maarja Varjupaigast. The host was welcoming, friendly, informative and very generous. The accommodation was large, well equipped and had many bonuses. The area was quiet and safe.

Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House asub Vila Realis, 30 km kaugusel Natur veepargist, 31 km kaugusel Vidago paleest golfiväljakust ja 43 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist. The house is like a small castle, but very tidy and comfortable. The owner is so nice. There are many well thought out details, which make the stay even more pleasant.

We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place. We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in. From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not). Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

Teresa and Miguel are the best hosts one could expect. The room was roomy and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location of the house was perfect to explore the region in the best way. We will will surely come back.

We loved this place - the views, the history. the spaciousness of our room, the beautiful antiques throughout, and especially our times with Carlos and Paula. We loved the town - so charming and picturesque. This was a highlight of our whole trip.
