Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Objekat Salgueiral Guest House Douro nudi besplatan WiFi i terasu, a udaljen je 19 min. hoda od znamenitosti Muzej Doro i 16 km od znamenitosti Svetilište Naše Gospe od isceljenja. The host was welcoming, friendly, informative and very generous. The accommodation was large, well equipped and had many bonuses. The area was quiet and safe.

Smeštajni objekat Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro, koji se nalazi na 15 min. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place. We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in. From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not). Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Teresa and Miguel are the best hosts one could expect. The room was roomy and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location of the house was perfect to explore the region in the best way. We will will surely come back.

We loved this place - the views, the history. the spaciousness of our room, the beautiful antiques throughout, and especially our times with Carlos and Paula. We loved the town - so charming and picturesque. This was a highlight of our whole trip.
