This was the most pleasant stay we had in almost a month on Madeira! The host Luis and his family are so welcoming, kind and helpful. The view from the unit is absolutely beautiful and it is fully equipped with everything you could need. The apartment was so clean and very well maintained. We were treated like family; it was the most personable stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. The town of Calheta is so quaint but yet has everything you could need. It is a perfect place to stay on the island to have a relaxing time yet still be close enough to everything you want to do.

Encanto do Sol er staðsett í Ponta og býður upp á garð- og sjávarútsýni. do Sol er í 500 metra fjarlægð frá Ponta do Sol-ströndinni og í 1,7 km fjarlægð frá Lugar de Baixo-ströndinni. Thé expérience was wonderful. The place was peaceful, rooms big and comfortable, perfectly equipped. Great view and vast terraces. The owners are approaching their work with passion and dedication. They have high working ethics and are very inspiring. It is possible to hike a lot, there is accès to two trails from the town. We are grateful for this stay and hope more people will benefit from this lovely place.

Great location short walk to town centre . Spacious room , comfortable bed , AC , great shower . Very clean ! Tastefully decorated throughout . Amazing pool area , feels like you are in a jungle with fruits hanging from trees . Highly recommend !

We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
