Such a fantastic stay at La Maison du moulin a vent. We received a very warm welcome and the gite was so beautifully restored and decorated. A lovely enclosed garden perfect for our dog and located in very peaceful surroundings with just the sound of a donkey and a cockerel to welcome in the morning. Walks from the front door and a great location for visiting the champagne region. Do try the champagne which is available from the hosts, it is fantastic!

It was very clean and organised. The owner was very nice and brought us anything we were missing. Very good for the price. Everything needed in the kitchen was already provided and the beds were very comfortable. It was just like the pictures.

This house was perfect for our family. The house is clean, tidy, and great for a family of 4. Emmanuelle has thought of every last detail. There is a lovely private secure garden, which was ideal for our small dog. Communication with Emmanuelle was excellent, and the food was ready for us in the fridge, just what we needed after a long drive. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely return to this delightful house. Emmanuelle is the most lovely host.

So much character. Cosy, comfortable. Really relaxing being here. Even the little decor details were so nice and the books and things in the cupboard for kids. Beds were extremely comfortable All the mod cons worked perfectly, nice and warm. Kitchen well equipped. Great coffee! The owner was super friendly and gave us information on sightseeing and dining. One of our best stays. Such a wonderful experience all round.

Very warm welcome; nice clean house with two separate bed rooms (the one under the roof has air conditioning which was crucial when we stayed (36°). Good bathroom. My children (5 and 9) loved all the facilities in the huge garden (zip line, play houses, monkey bars and even goats; I preferred the boulodrome) They even didn't want to go back to the lac d'Orient the next day. The owners are living in the house next door and are very friendly. Nice feature: the old well in the living room. I can only recommend La Maison de Louna
