We loved staying at The Coorg Heaven. We opted for the two bedroom condo with a kitchenette. It was clean and had basic amenities which we appreciated. Property owner, Naveen was not available but he ensured we were met by the caretaker who lives within the property and can make a decent cup of coffee for your mornings and on arrival. The location Stuart Hill is superb on the Mysore Road and within walking distance to an autorixkshaw stand, a cool supermarket, a wholesale spices store, ATM and restaurants. Swiggy, Zomato are available to deliver orders , just ensure you mention Stuart Hill as location and as a landmark mention to take the first right dambar road after Nakshatra supermarket. Caretaker can also order and get food for you. I felt the linen and towels could be better maintained, especially as it was both post COVID as well as peak season. But, we would still come back to stay here. Naveen made sure to always pick our calls and offered suggestions . Not only that, by mistake I transferred 5000 INR extra and Naveen ensured he refunded it back as soon as possible.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Krishna Homestay Hampi is set in Hampi. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The accommodation features full-day security and room service for guests. I have travelled a bit and have never been to a homestay that was as superb as Krishna Homestay. Right from the cleanliness of the property to the facilities of the room, everything exceeded expectations. The room is relatively new and all the fittings in the room are sparkling clean. The breakfast and meals provided by Raju's wife are delicious and gives you the pleasure of home made food even on a vacation. Raju also arranged an auto for our sightseeing purposes. The driver, Pandu, made sure we saw everything with adequate care given to our fatigue and comfort. Our travel back was some time late in the evening and we were cared for till the time of our train. We were taken care of like family and we will always remember this trip with a lot of fond memories of Krishna Homestay.

The rooms are outward facing, each one having a door to the outside which is very accessible. it is all centered around a common area which is outdoor but covered. there, they serve great breakfast and dinner (all homemade quality). They also have strong wifi, plenty of power outlets, and they’ll help arrange auto services if you need them. The owners there are very respectful and welcome of their guests. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting Hampi.
