Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Art Hostel is set in Leeds, 1.4 km from Trinity Leeds and 1.5 km from O2 Academy Leeds. The property is located 1.3 km from First Direct Arena, 1.6 km from Leeds Town Hall and 5.1 km from Roundhay Park. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests.

The receptionists are very friendly had a great attitude, very prompt to go out of their way. Exceptionally clean hostel, the linen bed is always white, clean crisp and smell divine. Bathroom are constantly kept clean and one can have shampoo, conditioner, soap. Towels are white and clean, kitchen has a good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and pasta all ready for one to prepare and dish. The guests tend to be respectful and gracious I was impressed by the good friendly nature of the employees.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

    - Communal showers were clean and the water pressure was so good! (Better than at home!) - Staff were friendly and explained all necessary policies/procedures. - Great location. Only 25 minutes walk from First Direct Arena which was fantastic. - Great price! You’re not going to get much cheaper in Leeds. Well worth it! (And there’s a kettle in the room, fantastic!)

The hotel is just ok, regular Ibis Budget. Super close to city centre, safe area, clean rooms and great staff. Even though I had to suffer two nights the noise coming from the adjacent rooms and corridor, the receptionist was very considered and offered me an extra night for free as compensation. All of the reception staff were very nice and welcoming.

The room was very spacious with comfy beds/pillows etc, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location for the city centre shops, train station and music venues, restaurants & night life. Slept really well and it was surprisingly quiet from the hustle and bustle of city life, felt safe walking around the area at night too. Breakfast was really good - self service style with a good selection of both cooked & continental options. All the staff I met were very professional, friendly and approachable.

Institutional feel to the place - felt like an upmarket youth hostel - but spotlessly clean, good vfm and great location for the Uni.

Excellent location and cheaper than other Leeds Central establishments. Only discovered on arrival that it is a school for clergy, but this explains the austerity of furniture and decor, and certainly made for an interesting and different overnight stay! No frills but pristinely clean. Good breakfast at communal tables. Feels like a convent mixed with a Youth hostel.

It was cheap, clean, had car parking and is in a good location. It's a budget hotel so not somewhere you'd stay for luxury. But for a cheap stay in leeds then this was exactly what I was after.
