I spent only few hours in this hostel due to my late arrival and early departure but it was pretty nice! I booked a 6 bedroom dorm and ended up in a 2 bedroom dorm with another female. It was great, but sharing the room with a male wouldn’t feel comfortable. The room had a/c too. The common area was better than on the pictures with a very spacious kitchen. Everything was clean, tourist info provided.

Hostel La Botella de Leche is 5 minutes’ walk from Tamarindo town centre and 1 hour’s drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport. I really recommend this hostel for everyone visiting tamarindo. By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at, the kitchen was well equipped and always clean, and the pool was very nice. Last but not least the staff there was amazing. Me and my friend had a bad headache after getting sunburned, and the manager there was so helpful and showed us a way that made the headache go away almost completely. Thanks to you especially Leo, and the rest of the staff of course!

You will find luggage storage space at the property. Wonderful hostesse, so helpful and cheery! My bed in the dorm was so cosy. Good value for money So close to the bus station and also organised shuttle for a good price round trip to one of the best parks (so underated) Rincon de la vieja. It was one of my best days in costa rica! The park is amazing. I came back soaked from having fallen in mud and in the waterfall and she offered to clean my shoes. What a lovely lady.

This is one the best places I have stayed in my life. Backpackers has such a welcoming and friendly environment. Even in six days I felt like I was surrounded by family. I met so many incredible people. It was so hard to leave, but one day I will go back. If you are going to take a lesson a surf lesson, do it through Marco's school!
