The hostel looks wonderful, both from the outside and inside, the rooms are nice and cosy (you must provide your bed linen and towels or they are available for rent in the hostel) and you can prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Mia and Lasse placed their effort into the customization and improvement of each of the areas of the place with great attention to detail. They put their heart into this project. The result is a relaxing and awesome place a few steps from Lofta Kustväg, an evocative country road that runs along the sea and that you can comfortably travel by bike (also available for rent at the reception). I can only assign five well-deserved stars! If you go there, don't forget to order the vegan breakfast at check-in. You can thank me later ;)

It's an old school, our bedroom was half a classroom -- great play facilities and gymnasium and very spacious kitchen and common areas. The association that runs it really care about their community and keeping the building alive and take a lot of pride in creating a great experience. A very lovely place to stay and well located for Astrid Lingrens world. Don't miss visiting the nearby church, a fantastic piece of architecture!

The small Guldgrävarstugan Museum is located on site. The rooms are nicer than they looked on the pictures and the bathroom is only shared with one other room, so it's not a problem at all to share! When we had to catch our train in the morning and there was no taxi to take us, she offered to bring us. Thank you so much for your kindness Sissi! There's a nice park with a lake to swim in on the other side of the road.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room and bedding are spotless clean. I'd definitely come back and stay again.
