Nearby is the forest Stendalgaards Plantage, where you can hike and jog. Visit the Blicheregnens Museum in Thorning, the lime pits in Mønsted, and in Silkeborg you can take a trip on the oldest original paddle steamer in the world, "Hjejlen".
