After a slice of soothing French lifestyle, check out our partially restored one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a Belle Epoque apartment complex. Walking distance to town centre (including railway station: SNCF buses only, or cycle through from Paris to Mt St Michel via the Veloscenic) and easy access to spa facilities (including by public transport), tennis courts, pool and a range of outdoors and cultural activities. Hi, we are Chris and Geraldine Blomfield-Brown with a mix of nationalities (French, Australian, English and American - yes all those). Middle age couple been married 25 year, no children. Both out going adventurous and athletic. Both easy going and respectful of others peoples privacy and property and enjoy meeting new and interesting people. Bagnoles sur l’Orne was the top spa town destination with wealthy Parisian families at the turn of the twentieth century. Today it still boasts a distinct and vibrant lifestyle where one can relax whilst remaining active physically and spiritually. Numerous activities available nearby: forest 5mns away on foot, lots of possibilities to ride on tracks and roads, aquatic centre 10mns away by car), casino (with notorious stars as guests), cinema and music festivals in the summer. Mushroom picking in the autumn. Normandie is definitely worth discovering for its historical heritage and gastronomy are unique. A 10 minute walk from the town centre and its restaurants, cafes and shops. Nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. Shuttle very close to the apartment to the spa facilities. The apartment is also within walking distance to beautiful walking forest trails, tennis courts and the public pool.
