Lovely 17th century chateau. A real old chateau experience, with squeaky doors, old, original painted beam ceilings, uneven floors etc. Loved the rustic feel! Stephanie was a wonderful host and cooked a lovely meal for us. The property has a great swimming pool and various areas where one can relax. A walk in the forest with the owners dog, Kapla, was a treat!

This chateau is located at the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park, just 19 mi from Saumur. It offers rooms with period furnishings and views of the garden or the courtyard. The guest rooms are named after a female figure of French history. Each room features a fireplace and some have a seating area. All of the rooms have a private bathroom, some with hand-painted tiles.
