The property is located on the historical Hill of Onehunga dominating the Manukau Harbour. It was the location of a British fort during the NZ Maori wars as well as the main City Centre until 1900. The historic village of Onehunga is one of the first urban settlement in New Zealand. Partially rebuilt in early 1920s, it offers a variation of architectures and styles from early colonial ages to Art Deco.
