In addition to the living room with kitchen with a sofa bed for 2 people, it has a separate bedroom for 2 people and a bathroom with a round bathtub. Suite Ivo Detela (Deluxe Suite), named after Mayor of Dob, who lived in the house and had a municipal office in this room from 1927 to 1941, has a 140 cm wide bed for 2 people, covers 20 m2 with a bathroom. Apartment Hinko Smrekar (Superior Apartment), named after the famous illustrator, who as a student spent time in this house with Detela’s sons and his classmates from Vienna, has 48 m2. It has a living room with a double bed and a sofa bed for 2 people, a separate kitchen and a bathroom. Apartment Julij Betetto (Studio), named after a European-renowned opera singer who spent time in this house, has 33 m2. It has a living room with kitchen and double bed, an entrance hall with a bed and a bathroom. The washing machine is available for all accommodations. The country homestead, built in 1797, has preserved the characteristics of Slovenian architecture throughout the centuries. According to the project of architect Mateja Panter it was renovated in 2020 for the purpose of the tourism and received the international BIG SEE Tourism Design Award and the Slovenian award Interior of the Year 2023.

House 1797 is an ideal starting point for visiting the various sights that Slovenia has to offer. With our tourist route "Slovenia Here" you can discover three major attractions of Slovenian tourism in the immediate vicinity of the House 1797: Lipizzaner horses at Krumperk Castle, beekeeping and karst caves - Babja and Železna. The caves are open to both the general public and guided caving trips for the experienced. There are plenty of bike paths in the surroundings that take you to the Alpe foothills.
