We had a very nice time at Dam Dam Place. We booked 4 nights and stayed 2 nights longer because we liked it so much. The place is located a few minutes walking distance to the beach in a beautiful green garden behind the restaurant. The bungalows are rather basic but very clean and have everything you need, including a bathroom and a small balcony with chairs. Dam Dam had an answer for everything and helped us to arrange trips and transfers. The whole stuff was very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included and available all day, as was the free water refill. If we ever come back to Port Barton, Dam Dam would be our first choice! Thank you for everything! ♥️

Hostess Juliefe & her mom were wonderful. Room was clean and we had an AC. Downstairs you could use table & dishes so you could prepare own meal. Cold drinkable water was always available. Communication in English language was great. Juliefe always arranged all things immediately. We took hooping tour A and were delighted:)

Very cool place. Bungalows very authentic and rustic. John is a great guy. Very down to earth and helpful. Food was great, and despite what other reviews said, I think was fairly priced for such a good place. Games to play as we weren’t able to venture out due to the weather. Cool swings at the beach. John was helpful with pick up and drop off to port Barton at last minute when there was a mix up (my fault) from with our transfer. Our first night we were in a pretty open bungalow and there was a typhoon. Bungalow was very strong, but as it was open to the elements it wasn’t the best nights sleep. But without asking, John’s team were there bright and early in the morning to move us to a bungalow that was a bit more closed.

Plus the windows are all lined up with mosquito screens, so if you can sleep with the windows open and let the coolness of the night in. Purified water was also provided, much appreciated!
