This Encinitas, California inn is located 6 miles from Legoland and within walking distance of Leucadia Beach. It provides a kitchenette in every room with a microwave and a refrigerator.
Each room at the Leucadia Beach Inn features cable TV with 256 channels and 96 HD channels. Coffee-making facilities are included. The rooms also offers air conditioning and a private bathroom.

The kitchenette was excellent with electric stoves , cutlery, crockery, fridge, microwave, toaster etc. Room was tastefully done. Charming location with eateries. Grocery store is there next door but seems to close very early - we went at 8pm but it was shut. The Manager Todd was extremely responsive and kind in trying to accommodate our request. We enjoyed our walk to the nearest beach (not a sandy regular beach) which took about 15 minutes through streets of houses and their lovely gardens.

That is my experience each time. The live-in managers are accommodating and cordial. The hotel is set far enough away from the train tracks so you barely here the train when it passes. The room's window and door are open when empty so you can be certain that the air is fresh when you walk in. I've stayed at other hotels that don't do this and you can smell left over dinners or smoke or cleaning products.HHUYSolo traveller

Clean, large room, hot shower, great help at front desk even though I checked in late. Even better are all of the coffee/drink, breakfast, and eating places right there at Leucadia Beach. I had a nice morning walk to Grandview Beach and back, after grabbing a nearby coffee.

Breakfast was creative with juice and berries accompanied by different main dishes each day, including bagels purchased specifically each morning on which it was served. The daily interaction with the innkeepers was engaging and welcoming. Great choice if you want a more personal experience rather than a hotel environment.
