Situated in Palenville, 31 km from Catskill State Park, The Woodbine Inn features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. 20 km from Hunter Mountain and 40 km from Bard College, the inn provides ski storage space. The property is non-smoking and is located 26 km from Hudson Athens Lighthouse.

I loved the rustic charm. The property was very historic and stayed true to the history. There was beautiful artwork on the walls and beautiful antique furniture everywhere, including the rooms. There are no TVs in the rooms which, to me, was what I was looking for. They had board games, a big common table to eat at and a bar run on very informally. I felt like I was visiting family.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

What a treat - comfortable bed, enormous room(s), well-appointed property with great indoor and outdoor spaces and probably the best homemade muffins we have ever had. The historic boarding house has been made into a very comfortable small inn that's lovely without being over the top in the way of some "fancy" small inns. The only downside was that we were spending the weekend with our kid at Bard so we didn't get to spend more time at the Woodbine Inn - we hope to come back and explore more.

The Inn is situated by a creek which, at the right time of the year, must be pretty.

The proprieters were very welcoming, and have a very historic, comfortable, casual, and friendly inn. The location was great to explore the area.

Very cute, newly renovated lobby/public areas; well-appointed, comfortable, and spacious room; lovely grounds; great continental breakfast included; super nice, friendly, and personable staff (particularly owner Brian and bartender Betsy); excellent soundtrack outdoors by the tavern - highly recommend!

The owner, who also staffed the front desk when we arrived, was really friendly and helpful. He offered several suggestions for dinner at nearby restaurants and other tips about the area. The grounds are lovely, and the newly built firepit looks terrific, although we did not try it. The beanbag toss was also fun and fit in with the general relaxed theme of the Lodge. The owner has great plans for the future, having just purchased the property in recent months. Easy access to Woodstock.
