The nearest airport is Mount Gambier Airport, 8 km from the inn. Checkin is at the bar, all went fine. There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Accommodation options include single, twin and triple rooms. The location was amazing out in the Flinders Ranges. The hotel was far above my expectations. The hotel was unique to be in the outback of Australia. Ellie, the manager, was very welcoming & friendly. You could see that Ellie is very proud of her business & rightly deserved. The staff were friendly & the food was great. Even the feral mixed grill & emu paté was lovely. There are self drives from the hotel or you can just relax & do nothing. It certainly is an experience to be have.

The nearest airport is Kingscote Airport, 87 km from the inn. gorgeous atmosphere, amazing people; got there late and Matt had put the heaters on in our room prior to our arrival so the room was warm for us upon entry, the small things make the most difference
