This place hit all possible points! old building with fully renovated modern room, so unexpected, beautiful and super convenient! the host met us upon arrival and showed us around ( in addition we got an early morning email with all the instructions). keyless entry was a nice touch too. convenient parking, perfect location close to everything in town.

The room was lovely, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on and there was very little noise pollution considering its location. A little disappointed when we realized parking was not right at the Inn and it would be a problem for a couple such as my parents who are elderly and struggle to walk with bags etc but for us it was fine and we didn't mind walking the few minutes uphill. Overall a lovely stay, we would certainly book again.

The entire hotel is beautifully restored and appointed. The room was very nicely decorated with high quality furnishings. The room was immaculate! Bed was very comfy. John and Steve run a very nice establishment and if in the area again would definitely stay again!

An incredibly charming, thoughtful place with a personal touch. Beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance to shops/cafés/waterfront. Breakfast was probably the finest I had in a Canadian hotel/inn. A small but qualitative selection of fruit, pastries and savory options. Staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The other travelers were either very quiet or the house is generally not particularly noisy. A wonderful, memorable stay.

An excellent buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. Attentive staff topped up coffee and orange juice and the selection of foods was very good, with excellent quality. The house is beautiful and the grounds/flowers well maintained and attractive. After dinner drinks on the patio were lovely. Good internet.
