The entire hotel is beautifully restored and appointed. The room was very nicely decorated with high quality furnishings. The room was immaculate! Bed was very comfy. John and Steve run a very nice establishment and if in the area again would definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance to shops/cafés/waterfront. Breakfast was probably the finest I had in a Canadian hotel/inn. A small but qualitative selection of fruit, pastries and savory options. Staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The other travelers were either very quiet or the house is generally not particularly noisy. A wonderful, memorable stay.

Suite: We were in the main level suite (by choice as we travelled with our two small dogs—— easy in and out!). The bed was super comfy. Nice full flow shower. We loved the nespresso machine with the selection of coffees and teas. Plus some bonus oatmeal!! Fresh cartons of cream and milk in the fridge was a nice touch over those little plastic creamers! Full kitchen was provided so if you wanted to you could cook a meal. Overall, the room was a quaint suite which is exactly why we booked here —- we loved it!
