The hotel is located in the quiet charming village of Emmetten. Our room was large, quiet & dark at night and light & bright by day. The bed was very comfortable ensuring we had great sleep. The decor is clean & neat. We had a good view of the mountain from our window. Reception staff were friendly & check in & out was efficient. We enjoyed a nice three course meal in the restaurant and a walk up through the village to take in the views of the sun setting over the lake. This hotel is within a two minute walk to a cable car & the village grocery shop.

This cosy and quiet hotel is only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne and a 2-minute walk from the Rotsee lake, world-famous for its rowing regattas. Free access to the swimming facilities on the lake & tea & coffee were well appreciated
