The hotel staff were great and we really enjoyed our dinner. We were late arriving due to traffic problems, but they held our table in the restaurant, even though it was quite busy when we arrived. Judging by how full the car park was, the restaurant is very popular with locals - and it's in a lovely location. Room was very nice.

Barry
In the rolling green countryside of Moulton just 5 minutes’ drive from Cardiff, The 3 Horseshoes Inn offers accommodation, a restaurant, and a children’s play park. With free Wi-Fi throughout, the Inn serves local produce on a varied and international menu. Breakfast was to order and I requested full cooked breakfast, which was superb along with a jolly nice pot of tea. The Evening Meal was also excellent and having stayed 2 nights I chose two different Mains; both were freshly cooked, and really tasty. My plate was 'clean' when it was taken back to the Kitchen; big compliments to both Chef and Serving Staff.
Staff efficient, helpful and friendly, Dinner was good quality and reasonably priced. enjoyable meal In restaurant. Delightful garden and setting.
Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The service we received from checking in at reception, during our meals, when visiting the spa right to checking out was consistently superb. The location was also perfect as we had walked up Pen y Fan the day we checked in.
Tides Reach Guest House is exceptional on every level and I will not hesitate to try an stay there again when I visit the area.
Really liked the food in the restaurant in the evening , it was excellent. Especially enjoyed the Sunday dinner ,lots of tasty veg and yummy gravy.
Parking was easy, check in was smooth, the room was newly refurbished to a very high standard, very comfortable. A nice bar with helpful friendly staff. Dinner was great and enjoyed by all my guests. Beautiful sunset down the valley.
Excellent evening meal. 2x steak dinners. Fantastic
Really lovely hotel. Very well done. Impressive The Concierge Keith was amazing! A real people person. It was spotlessly clean and in really good taste. Near to the station and the venue we were visiting. So excellent! In every way. I went with my daughter and we ate dinner there which was very good. Had afternoon tea also .... Excellent. I had a massage, perfect My daughter had a facial, perfect. Beautiful Spa The staff were lovely especially Keith the concierge. Excellent guy. A true asset to the hotel!
Bed including sofa bed are comfortable. Having the dinning table was convenient. Access on the TV good.
Great location, with an amazing view. The room were quite small but felt rustic, they had basic facilities but everything was modern and clean. Getting around would require a vehicle, there is ample parking but due to the remote location it would be difficult without a car to get around. Would recommend for short stays and break, unfortunately we didn't get time to eat dinner there as the restaurant area was fully booked. The included breakfast was basic and simple.
The old rustic look keeping the history of Cardiff bay alive. The hotel had lots of character and references to its previous life. Sunday dinner in the restaurant was outstanding.
