Located in the quiet hamlet of Sigingstone, a 10-minute drive from the coastal town of Llantwit Major, Victoria Inn is a family-run establishment with free Wi-Fi and home-made, traditional food. Lovely inn with excellent food and clean and cozy rooms. Of note, while our room was above the pub it was surprisingly quiet and hence relaxing.

The Rose And Crown is a classic inn situated in the charming village of Nottage in Porthcawl. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar and a restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Good choice of beers and wines. Very welcoming.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming - we had had a long journey - 36hrs, from the other side of the world - we had to stay overnight near Cardiff Airport, in order to pick up a rental car the next day, and were exhausted. They kept the kitchen open especially to cook us a meal, which was great. Food quality excellent & freshly cooked. Good night's sleep, despite our body clocks telling us it should be daytime. Decor is lovely, thoughtful, resting. Would definitely stay again.

This will be my go to for this location.

The Golden Mile Country Inn is located in the Vale of Glamorgan and features a restaurant, bar and a terrace with countryside views. The hotel staff were great and we really enjoyed our dinner. We were late arriving due to traffic problems, but they held our table in the restaurant, even though it was quite busy when we arrived. Judging by how full the car park was, the restaurant is very popular with locals - and it's in a lovely location. Room was very nice.

In the rolling green countryside of Moulton just 5 minutes’ drive from Cardiff, The 3 Horseshoes Inn offers accommodation, a restaurant, and a children’s play park. Breakfast was to order and I requested full cooked breakfast, which was superb along with a jolly nice pot of tea. The Evening Meal was also excellent and having stayed 2 nights I chose two different Mains; both were freshly cooked, and really tasty. My plate was 'clean' when it was taken back to the Kitchen; big compliments to both Chef and Serving Staff.
