This was a room full of history and character that dates back to 12th century. The ensuite room was very comfortable and the added bonus of a fabulous roof terrace with views over Bosa and up to the castle. The host was so welcoming and friendly, greeting us. He talked us through some of the history of the building and town. We also had dinner that night in the adjoins restaurant, and had a fabulous meal. Such an enjoyable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Set in Orgosolo, 34 km from Tiscali, Locanda B&B Dandana offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The room was quite and very clean. Even offered Netflix. Our room had a small enclosed patio. The price was very reasonable. Free parking adjacent to the b&b. Breakfast was served in a cafe/bar a short walk away where the owner worked.

La Locanda d'Oro is situated in Monastir, within 20 km of Roman Amphitheatre of Cagliari and 20 km of Porta Cristina. All good and modern. Nice staff. Totally recommend!

Set in Siamaggiore, 24 km from Tharros Archaeological Site, Da Renzo offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Spacious suites on a quiet location with a nice restaurant. The only disappointment for us was that the restaurant was closed for Easter, at least we now have something to look forward to for our nice trip. The staff is absolutely amazing, graceful, and caring. My girlfriend forgot her earrings there and the staff managed to find them after we left and organized to have them shipped back!

Al Vecchio Corso B&B is set in Tempio Pausania, 45 km from San Simplicio Church and 45 km from Church of St. Paul the Apostle. We hit the jackpot with Al Vecchio Corso for our low season break. After exploring north Sardinia in March we decided that Tempio Pausania was the only town that met our requirements for somewhere traditional and picturesque while the Al Vecchio Corso was also in a class of its own in terms of atmosphere and hospitality. The owner was extremely friendly and was a delight to chat to during our delicious dinner on the premises.

Situated in the historical centre of Tortolì in the Sardinian Ogliastra area, Locanda degli Artisti offers functionally furnished rooms with free WiFi. The location was perfect right in the centre of Tortoli.

Located in Triei and with Domus De Janas reachable within 8.8 km, Eliseo's rooms provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant. What a lovely room! I had a great view of Baunei from my balcony, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The hostess was lovely, and parking is right across the street. It was a nice walk to the heart of town, but that evening I ate at the namesake restaurant below and enjoyed that as well!

Situated in Santa Teresa Gallura and within 400 metres of Rena Bianca Beach, Il Busciolotto has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautifully designed rooms with great location in the center of Santa Teresa di Gallura. The host is the most wonderful presence and her breakfast was incredibly good and thoughtful. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Ristoro Norghio features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Irgoli. The inn provides both free WiFi and free private parking. At the inn, every room is fitted with a desk. It was an authentic experience…and what an experience it was to get here! Our car overheated as we had to cross mountains and the last 15 min were is on a pretty bad road with no lights. Get here during the day! Cool evenings and it can get very windy even in summer! Spacious big building and good food in a cutely decorated dining hall. Nice owners who work everywhere! Great trekking possibilities with guides too. Good firm mattress .
