The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly. The room was very clean and well-appointed. Breakfast were of generous portions and tasted great. The overall vibe of the hotel is very homey.

Impressive collection of plants and trees, and landscaping of the small forest patch heading down the sea, with (very safe) steps carved out of the soil, hanging bridge and other bridges, and the stream cascading down into the sea, and Mayon watching nearby. The walnut pancake is delicious and also local dishes made by staff at the restaurant. Very relaxed surroundings.
