Located in the city centre of Gaziantep, Anadolu Evleri features a restored, stone built structure with a courtyard and a wine cellar. Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and where to visit which was a great help. The owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area and knew the best places to go. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

Set in a 800-year-old stone mansion with Arabic architecture, the historic Dara Konagı in Mardin offers stone rooms with plasma TVs and minibars. For relaxation, there is a hot tub and a garden. The room and the accommodation were very nice and with a certain local theme, generating a very rewarding immersion in the tourist climate of the city. The breakfast it was also very good. It is important to point out that the old part of the city is practically a labyrinth, so it was also very difficult to find the location of the accommodation. For those coming by car, an essential tip is to be restricted to driving only on the two main streets that pass through the old part of Mardin, the "Yeni Yol Cd." and the "1. Cadde", because Google Maps will insist on making you enter very tiny cross streets that will be impossible to advance.

Kasr-i Nehroz is located in 2 historical stone houses, few hundred meters from the Silversmith Bazaar. The hotel features free Wi-Fi in public areas and a 24-hour reception. The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is at a stone's throw from the bus station and, at the same time, inside the old city. In fact, I would recommend to reach it from that side (bus station) rather than from the main square. The stuff is very gentle and keen to help while the room was spacious, warm and well furnished. The whole hotel is really beautiful and I would recommend to ask for a room facing the courtyard. Oh and they also have a restaurant, slightly more expensive than those downtown, but really worth it and serving alcohol
