For those coming by car, an essential tip is to be restricted to driving only on the two main streets that pass through the old part of Mardin, the "Yeni Yol Cd." and the "1. Cadde", because Google Maps will insist on making you enter very tiny cross streets that will be impossible to advance.

In fact, I would recommend to reach it from that side (bus station) rather than from the main square. The stuff is very gentle and keen to help while the room was spacious, warm and well furnished. The whole hotel is really beautiful and I would recommend to ask for a room facing the courtyard. Oh and they also have a restaurant, slightly more expensive than those downtown, but really worth it and serving alcohol
