I mentioned that my birthday was occurring during my stay and I was offered a complimentary bottle of red/white/sparkling wine that day. Very nice touch!

We are avid walkers and so were able to walk everywhere and forgo car or public transport. Walked to Stanley Park, took ferry to Granville Market then walked back via False Creek promenade/sea wall and Yaletown. Crossed the street to the station for the airport train.
