This is a hill in the middle of the city that is free...
This is a hill in the middle of the city that is free however, you need to sign in before climbing up. There's some good views but nothing all that great to do on the climb up. Allow a good 30 minutes depending how fast you walk.

About 4 stops to Costanera Center, and about 2-3 stops to Santa Lucia Hill. There was breakfast available, I took 2 tours that I booked through the hostal, and they were nice. Staff were friendly. Also they had some themed nights.. LIke Pisco night and Pasta/Wine night. and a dinner was set up and met other guests. It It's a nice hostal, if you want to meet other people.

The hotel is in a quiet street next to the Santa Lucía hill, very close to the busy downtown area but away from the noise and chaos. The hotel has been beautifully carved into one or two old buildings with Art Nouveau details, and is very tastefully decorated. The room was comfortable, the terrace lovely, the restaurant excellent, and the staff very helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Lastarria neighborhood, which has several trendy restaurants.

He explained us which places we should see, where we may eat, and where we should be careful :) he also helped to set up a sim card. it was very helpful for us as it is our first visit of Chile. The room was clean and we could use dishes, coffee and tea for free. The Appartment is conveniently located right above a metro station and opposite to the beautiful Santa Lucia hill.
