It seemed in the evening we always ended up here watching the street performers. Nothing much to do but sit round the fountain and just chat and soak up the atmosphere. Little guys bring you cold beer/drinks whenever you like, don't be afraid of them - very handy indeed.JillSpain

The neighborhood has so many great restaurants and shops, including the highest rated pastry shop in Madrid. Super close to the Metro but you can also walk to Puerta del Sol in about a half an hour. The older lady who owns / manage the place is very nice & accommodating. I only stayed for one night after a tour. I'm familiar with Barrios de las Letras so I managed to get around. It's walking distance to Prado as well as Puerta del Sol. Location wise you cannot beat the price as long as you're only interested in a safe place to sleep after a day of sight seeing.

It was so easy to explore Madrid and to make connections for day trips to neighboring towns. I found the bed to be quite comfortable, the bathroom was large and modern, and the kitchen was well stocked. Also, even though the building is right on Puerta del Sol, my apartment was in the back and completely quiet. The host was very responsive to a couple of questions I had during my stay and in advance of my trip. I would stay here again!

Quite enaugh space in the room and little balcony and everything was very clean, literally very clean and location was in the city center, near Puerta del Sol. So I recommend it to everyone. You will like it. Only thing that they can improve is to put water in the rooms, but as it is apartment style it is understandable. And also the girl in the reseption was very helpful and they provide you with Madrid map and highlight where to go or visit. In one word ideal.RamizAzerbaijan
