We had a superior double room which was spacious and well appointed with a modern bathroom and a great shower. We slept very well. The restaurant served delicious food which is beautifully presented.

The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Parking is secure. It is absolutely the perfect accommodation if you are arriving or departing by ferry at Ouistreham (or if you want to visit places such as Pegasus Bridge). We absolutely loved it and would recommend it without reservation.

The hotel had a stale musty smell which was off putting, but the bedding was clean and the bed comfortable. We were able to leave the window open with mesh curtain across which helped. The surrounding village was attractive and the Pegasus bridge , memorial and river a short walk away. Plenty to see and do here. We plan to come back and stay for longer. A great place to stay if you are taking a ferry from Ouisterham. The parking which is not mentioned in detail on the booking overview is plentiful at the property, very good and free.

However, what makes this hotel is the outstanding restaurant. Good choice of menus and the best steak we had on our holiday. We stayed here last year and nothing has changed. Friendly and helpful staff. Also walking distance to Pegasus Bridge and less than ten minutes from ferry terminal
