The Scott is on the campus of the University of Edinburgh, and I had to reach it via an Uber ride. But I was so happy to have changed from my similarly priced, more centrally located and tiny little previous hotel room. It's in a beautiful old building, and while the common rooms had a bit of old/tiny bit faded glamour, the room and bathroom were new and gorgeous. However, I loved the common rooms, the one with the honor system drinks, the one with limitless tea and coffee, the room where we had breakfast.

This was a converted dormitory on the campus of the University of Edinburgh. Everything was adequate, and the staff tried to work with us when we realized that the Booking price we were paying was almost three times more than the going price for a room.
