This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending...
This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending point for many of the city's bus routes so it all happens here. The downside is that it is also very busy. You access the walls to walk around from this gate entrance (on you left as you come into the city)

Pile gate very nice, unfortunately there is an unpleasant smell all day - most likely because of the sewage system. At the gate there is a stop for all city bus lines and probably some suburban lines.

He was always available to contact via WhatsApp, and even met us at Pile gate at 2am when our flight landed to show us to the apartment! Extremely clean and beautifully setup with a lot care in the design of the apartment. It is so close to Pile Gate yet tucked back in a nook making it very private and quiet. You are on Stradum in 1 or 2 minutes tops. THANK YOU for a fabulous stay! Already missing Dubrovnik!

Ivona sent us map how to find the place before we got there what was really helpful (easy contact through either booking.com chat or whatsapp). We had room with kichenette, cosy and comfortable with most of the stuff that you need. It was great place to stay :)MalPoland

Like most of Old Town you do need to go up a number of steps to the apartment but once prepared for this it is fine and was always well lit, even at night. Apartment itself was perfect for 2 couples and the treats and bits in the fridge were a lovely extra touch. Very clean throughout. We were greeted at Pile Gate and brought to the apartment, communication was great. Highly recommend.

There were quite a few steps (over 40) to reach the front door of the apartment. The apartment had most things that you would need. Bed was comfortable and so was the lounge. Plenty of room for a solo person or a couple to spread out and relax.

The bed was really comfortable with lovely linens and so much thought has been put into the styling. So many extras to help make you feel at home. Umbrellas, shopping bags, bathroom toiletries and laundry detergent, milk in the fridge (a first in 5 weeks of Europe) …. Plus so much more.
