Go early - Europe starts from 9am so if you want to see the Stradum without the crowds, around 8am will give you a much better view for photos that are not all photo-bombed by everyone else in love with this historic city.

Gets very crowded during the day but a wonderful place to stroll in the evenings when the air cools down and you can walk up and down with an ice cream. The kids playing along and old couples walking hand in hand, brings a smile to once face.

The main strip of Old Town. Insanely crowded, but that in itself can be fun for people watching and the pure chaos of of all if you know what to expect! Take a right or left into the tiny alleys for a totally different experience.

Be cautious. Overpriced shops and one owner (jewelry store called Roberto Studio) tried to charge us the same price in Euro for what was really marked in Kunas. Saw the same thing in other shops at the same price in Kunas.

It had everything I needed for a great short stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable (I almost wished I stayed here a few more nights just for the bed alone even though I enjoyed my other accommodation in Dubrovnik just as much). It was very easy to get to the Old Town with the bus, although the buses were crowded. Our host Tomi was most helpful, meeting us when we arrived and arranging us the airport transportation.
