This place is a gem! Owners are super friendly. They took care of my luggage prior to check in and after check out. The room was super spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was super comfy. Wi-fi speed was great: I could work from there easily, including video calls. Bathroom was super huge. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. The heater in the bathroom was a bless. Towels were great quality. A small towel for make up remover was provided, which I really appreciated. A fair amount of TV channels was available. Probably the best stay I had in NZ so far. I recommend this place over any backpackers or hostels. It is a short walk from town centre main street, about 5 min, and it's totally worth it. The amount comfort and the kindness you get from the owners and staff combined with the high quality service is beyond the price payed.

Nice cottage set up. Really comfortable bed and living room area. Kitchen was well stocked. BBQ grill was great. Loved the reclining patio chairs. We found a short (30 minute) trail just down the road from our cottage.

Would have liked to have a room with a view, however, the view entering and exiting the motel made up for it, with a stunning view of the mountains and beach.
