Situated in Sarapiquí, 1 km from La Selva Biological Station main area, the lodge has a garden and a shared lounge at the dining hall, as well as free WiFi. The reserve is beautiful. The entrance for the reserve is included. A tour guide us also included (and it is the best part, thanks for this tour again). But, accomodations are 15-20 minutes walking from the reception and the dining hall so take note of this. Meals are 15$ each also. But the reserve and the staff are totally amazing

Remote location was amazing with beautiful views and waterfall on property just a short hike away. Very quiet and secluded area. Nixon was our service specialist who brought us our meals to eat on the balcony and assisted with anything we needed. Very personal service

Set within lush tropical gardens just a 20-minute drive from San José Airport, Hotel Bougainvillea San José offers a large outdoor pool, tennis courts and a gym. This hotel was simply immaculate. The staff was excellent. I last stayed here about 35 years ago. Was delighted to see the hotel still had its charm and remains extremely clean. The breakfast was very good and filling. Just a great place to stay.

The hotel was well put together taking everything into condsideartion. Good swimming pool. Great Breakfast. Great for birdwatching. We liked it so much we extended our stay.
