Situated in Sarapiquí, 1 km from La Selva Biological Station main area, the lodge has a garden and a shared lounge at the dining hall, as well as free WiFi. The breakfast was adequate in a pleasant open, convenient location. The staff in the reception office were especially friendly and helpful. The guides for our hikes were very knowledgeable and responsive to participants. They showed and briefly described important research being done there. The area is incredibly beautiful and full of magnificent wildlife. I appreciated the emphasis on sustainability.

Located only 8 minutes’ drive from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, this executive hotel offers free Wi-Fi access throughout and sun terraces around the outdoor pool. Free shuttle service to the airport was great and not too far of a drive. The hotel grounds were well kept and beautiful. The attached restaurant had delicious food. The staff was very professional. The room had good AC and the shower had great water pressure. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. Overall I would recommend this to anyone staying in San Jose that needs a shuttle to/from the airport.

Situated in Heredia, 10 km from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn features accommodation with a farm to table restaurant, spring-fed hillside infinity... The whole hotel complex is beautiful. The food was amazing and the accommodation was so unique. Walking into the rooms was breathtaking.
