Mustafa is very helpful and may organise guides for hiking tours and Marisa surely is one of the best cooks of the island. We spent a wonderful time and had a lot of fun with a group of portugese people staying there at the same time. Don´t miss watching the stars at night time! Hint: believe Mustafa if he tells you that bungalow #10 has 40°C even at night!

Ikatutuwa ng mga guest sa hotel ang buffet breakfast. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though some of them didn’t speak very good English, they made a lot of effort to communicate with us. And they were very patient with our many requests. They also allowed us to check in earlier and check our later with no additional fees. Truly the best staff. The place looks better in real life than in the photos. It really has a colonial vibe. The AC worked perfectly - probably the best we experienced during our trip to Cabo Verde. We had an amazing view of the city, the sea and the Brava island (room no 9)

Edificio Cosec Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Cova Figueira. The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.

Boasting a restaurant, bar and views of mountain, Txon DFogo Pensão Restaurante is set in São Filipe, 500 metres from Sao Filipe Beach. Great location. Walking distance to stores. It can get a little noisy if your room is facing the entrance, but it’s not too crazy.
