Very nice welcome from the staff, they were super friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It’s rare enough for me to be noted: we didn’t have to touch the A/C more than once, it was the perfect temperature and didn’t make any noise. We would recommend, and absolutely come back!

Hotel Villadesella is a typical Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 1.5 km from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. The hotel was delightful. We had a superior room with views over Ribadesella and to the mountains (despite the rain!!). Breakfast was lovely....fresh and well presented. We wanted to eat before hotel restaurant's opening time of 8.30 in the evening so went next door for bbq ribs and salad....very good!!
